Everything you need to get started with Pagepings.

Getting Started

Pagepings makes it easy to start monitoring any web page in under a minute. Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up for free: Create your account with just an email address. No credit card required.
2. Add a URL to monitor: Paste the web page URL you want to track. We’ll take an initial snapshot right away.
3. Configure your alerts: Choose how you want to be notified (email or Slack) and set your preferred check frequency.
4. Get notified of changes: When something changes, you’ll receive an alert with an AI-generated summary of what’s different.

How Monitors Work

Each monitor tracks a single web page. At your configured interval, Pagepings fetches the page content and compares it to the previous snapshot. Our system intelligently filters out irrelevant changes (like timestamps or ad rotations) and focuses on meaningful content updates.

When a significant change is detected, our AI engine analyzes the diff and produces a human-readable summary. You’ll see exactly what changed, along with a visual side-by-side diff in your dashboard.
